Environmental STEM Pathway

Encouraging Curiosity and Environmental Stewardship with E-STEM Learning

Bridging Education and Environmental Action

Details

The Lincoln Hills Cares E-STEM Pathway aims to provide learning experiences in the natural outdoors, and to model and engage youth in meaningful, real-world problem-solving, integrating science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This Environmental STEM (E-STEM) focused program promotes creative solutions and teamwork, increases environmental literacy, and emphasizes the knowledge and skills needed to pursue environmental stewardship and an interest in E-STEM related careers.

We also support STEM accredited school-based classroom teacher professional development in curriculum and assessment design, and provide resources to support their instructional practice, so that they may teach rigorous and engaging lessons to introduce key concepts, and plan meaningful project-based learning outcomes for their students.
