Stephanie earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Science from the University of Florida and her Master's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado. Originally from Miami, Florida, her fascination with the natural world began at an early age during frequent trips to the unique wetlands of her home state. Inspired by the beauty of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, she relocated to Denver to pursue her passion for environmental science and ecology.
During her graduate studies, Stephanie’s research focused on the impacts of anthropogenic climate change on ecosystems and the socio-ecological challenges faced by communities disproportionately affected by these changes. She has collaborated with local organizations to advocate for environmental justice and equitable access to outdoor spaces.
As the Outdoor Education Program Manager, Stephanie helps design and implement programs that connect youth with the outdoors through dynamic education and recreation experiences. Her contributions have supported the organization’s mission to cultivate the next generation of leaders while promoting environmental stewardship.
Beyond her work, Stephanie enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, spending time outside, and sharing her passion for the outdoors with others.
