Program Overview
Lincoln Hills Cares delivers innovative, environmentally-focused education programs for underrepresented communities, fostering outdoor skills, environmental stewardship, and career pathways in Outdoor and Environmental fields. Our programs include:
- Outdoor and Environmental Education: Engaging K-12 students through in-class and out-of-school programs, including activities at our mountain educational campus, in partnership with schools and community organizations.
- Youth and Family Engagement: Offering outdoor education and recreation opportunities for youth and families to promote environmental responsibility, health, and well-being.
- Cultural Connection: Expanding public access to the African American experience at Lincoln Hills and facilitating barrier-free use of our Outdoor Classroom and other spaces.
- Community Collaboration: Providing a platform for partnerships with educational organizations to enhance learning opportunities.
